This application requires MIDI access.
Please allow it when prompted.
Use a Web MIDI-compatible browser, such as Chrome.
› Connecting to the Roland VP9000
First set the app’s MIDI OUT to the port connected to the sampler.
Then set the same Device ID in the app and on the VP9000.
On the VP9000, go to: System › MIDI › Device ID
There you can view or change the ID number.
On the same page, select RX SW (F2) and make sure SysEx is enabled. › Request button
The REQUEST button updates the app with the current values from the VP9000.
Before using it, set MIDI IN (from VP9000) to the port connected from the sampler’s MIDI OUT
(not THRU).
› Effects
To make the effects work:
MULTI — Set the MIXER output PART from MAIN to M-FX to route the sound to the multi-effects unit. Then adjust the corresponding knob.
CHORUS and REVERB — Turn the corresponding knob in the MIXER.
If the output PART is set to DIR1 or DIR2, the sound will not be sent to any effects.
› Controlling the app
You can control the app with a computer mouse or via a MIDI controller or DAW.
To do it via MIDI controller or DAW, set MIDI IN (control app) and choose the correct MIDI channel.
If you use a DAW, you will need to create a virtual MIDI port on your computer. Search online for instructions for your system.
