After storing, presets can be selected without this app — either via MIDI In Program Change messages through the Master channel, or manually using the device's DIP switches.

This app needs permission to control your MIDI devices. Please allow MIDI access when prompted.
Use a browser that supports the Web MIDI API (such as Chrome).
This app only changes settings on the Doepfer Pocket device when using Send Preset, Store Preset, Send & Store Entire Bank, or Send & Store Settings. All other changes happen only in the browser or on your computer.
Auto-send Preset: When enabled, automatically sends the current preset to the device every time you switch preset slots — no need to press Send Preset
Copy to Selected: Duplicate the current preset into the chosen preset slot in the drop-down menu. Swap with Selected: Exchange the current preset with the preset selected in the drop-down menu, swapping their data and settings.
Copy MIDI Channel (Knob 1 → All): Copies the MIDI Channel assignment from knob 1 to all other knobs in the current preset. Copy Event Type (Knob 1 → All): Copies the Event Type from knob 1 to all other knobs in the current preset. Copy Event Arg (Knob 1 → All): Copies the Event Arg value from knob 1 to all other knobs in the current preset. Copy Event Arg (Knob 1 → All, +1): Copies the Event Arg value from knob 1 to all other knobs in the current preset, adding 1 to each successive knob’s value.
Request Preset: Loads the current preset from the device into the editor so you can view or edit it. Load Preset from Bank: Opens a popup showing presets from a bank file, letting you load one preset into the current slot without overwriting the whole bank. Clear Preset: Resets the current preset in the editor to a blank or default state.
Load Bank: Loads a full bank of 128 presets from a JSON file on your computer, replacing all current presets, knob/fader settings, and names in the editor. Load Factory Bank: Loads the default bank presets into the editor, replacing the current bank. Presets 81–101, 105 and 106 are available only for Pocket Dial. Clear Bank: Clears all presets in the editor, resetting the entire bank to empty.
Send Preset: Transmits the current preset to the device but does not save it. To save the preset after sending, use the Store Preset button. Store Preset: Saves the preset to the device’s memory, but only after it has been sent using the Send Preset button. Send & Store Entire Bank: Sequentially transmits all 128 presets to the device and stores each one to memory.
Export .txt: Generates simple text versions of your preset for easy printing or reference. Export Bank: Saves the entire bank — including all preset names and knob/fader labels — as a JSON file on your computer. Note: The names of presets and knobs/faders cannot be saved to the device itself — they only exist in your editor and in the JSON bank files on your computer.
Request Settings: Loads the current Master Channel and Thru settings from the device for viewing or editing. Send & Store Settings: Sends and saves the Master Channel and Thru settings to the device. Note: Check the options Realtime Events, SysEx Events, and Channel Events to forward incoming MIDI messages from MIDI In to MIDI Out.
